Boys Youth Lacrosse
Wethersfield Youth Lacrosse boys program is dedicated to providing boys ages 5-14 the opportunity to experience one of the fastest growing youth sports in the US. We serve residents of Wethersfield and those in surround towns with out their own US lacrosse program.
Our program welcomes players of any skill or experience levels, with a mission to grow the great game of Lacrosse.
Ages
Ideally 6-14 years old, however the occasional tough 5 year old would do fine.
When
Season begins mid march with the official season beginning closer to April.
Games
This is a travel program. We play surrounding towns usually within a 30 min drive or so.
Uniforms
Uniforms are mandatory and will be purchased by you during the registration process. Besure to choose the correct upsells.
Extra Costs
A US lacrosse membership is required to register for this program.

Im registering my son for Lightning, do I need to purchase a jersey, shorts, or shooter shirt?
We try to make the lightning program affordable. So you will only need to purchase a stick for your player. For registration we will collect sizing data only, however you will not be charged. Please choose Lightning player in the drop down menu. I believe for the charges you will choose N/A Lightning player. That being said, many families choose to buy the full uniform and add shorts and a shooter shirt to their carts. The shorts can probably be sourced used from our facebook group, and the shooter shirt is fun because their names are printed on the back, and it is one of the few ways to identify players.
